Morning/Afternoon Workshop Track Options:

General Information: Conference registration includes:
     Friday evening readings, Q&A, and wine and cheese networking reception with attendees, authors, and conference faculty and coordinators
·      Saturday keynote address with Carlos Eire, including Q&A
·      Saturday morning and afternoon workshops with knowledgeable and published faculty
·      Saturday morning agent, editor and publisher panel on “What Writers Must Know Writing for Publication”
·      Saturday morning agent, editor and publisher panel on “Living and Thriving in the Writing Life”
·      Saturday afternoon readings by conference attendees and faculty
·      New Saturday afternoon “Young Writers in Residence” breakout session with Rebecca Dimyan and guests
·      New Saturday afternoon “Now What” Q&A on next steps throughout the writing life with Adele Annesi and guests
·      Agent consideration, networking and post-conference follow-up
·      Light refreshments throughout the day Saturday
·      Saturday afternoon wine and cheese networking reception with attendees, conference faculty and conference coordinators

Application Process: The conference is crafted for dedicated aspiring and established writers. To apply, please send a one-page, double-spaced sample of your best work in the chosen genre. Conference participation is limited, and acceptance is based on the order in which the application is received, the quality of the writing, and the fit of the submission with the workshop level and content.

Agent Queries: Literary agents are part of the morning and afternoon discussion panels. After the conference, the agents will consider a one-page query letter describing the attendee’s submission. The letter can be emailed directly to the agent, with “Ridgefield Writers Conference 2017” in the subject line. More information will be available at the conference.

Payment: Full payment is due on acceptance of the application and submission.

$175.00 early bird registration — due July 1
$195.00 regular registration — due September 15
Note: College students and faculty may qualify for the student/faculty rate of $150. Please note your college or university and status.
Refunds for valid reasons are 70% up to August 15.
